About Us

 I’m a 43-year-old husband, father of seven, and a man driven by purpose, ambition, and relentless tenacity. I recently retired from the federal government after a 20-year career serving our nation’s veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs. During that time, I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Strayer University and gained valuable leadership and service experience that shaped who I am today.

For the past nine years, I have also co-owned a Medical Repatriation company, which deepened my understanding of compassionate care, professional transport, and the importance of dignity in life’s most sensitive moments. Now, I am fully dedicating my time to what I know is my calling. In 2023, I enrolled at Miami Dade College to pursue my degree in Mortuary Science, and I am set to graduate in May 2026. This step brings me closer to becoming a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, and to serving families in a deeper, more complete way.

In 2025, I founded Sacred Journey Services as part of my own sacred journey—one rooted in service, empathy, and genuine human connection. My goal is to make a real and lasting difference in every life I enter, and to walk alongside the families I serve every step of the way. With professionalism, compassion, and deep respect for this industry, I strive to bring comfort, dignity, and care to every family I encounter.

Sacred Journey Services is more than a business name to me—it’s a piece of my soul. I didn’t choose it because it sounded good or because it fit the industry. I chose it because it reflects my life, my purpose, and everything I’ve carried to get here. One of favorite cousins, a older brother figure introduced me to the funeral industry at age 13, my first carry. I knew then I wanted to be in this field. For the last 20 years, I put my dreams on hold to take care of my family. I chose the safe route, the steady route, because making sure they were okay mattered more than anything else. But deep down, I always knew I was meant to do something that truly touched people. Now, I’m stepping into that calling. This is my time to give myself the gift of purpose—by being present for others when their world feels like it’s falling apart.

Sacred Journey Services is my way of bringing empathy and respect back into this industry. It’s my promise to treat every loved one with dignity, and every family with compassion. I don’t just want to provide a service—I want to provide comfort, understanding, and a steady presence in the moments people feel the most broken. Every family I encounter matters to me, and I want them to feel that from the very first call.
